In 2006 the first ever Mablethorpe Marathon reawakened a little of the community spirit that has been missing from our town for so many years. The Visions project aims to build on this by providing the people of Mablethorpe a community activity that can involve people of all ages and backgrounds: film making.
the vision
Our current project is the completion of a second film following on from Mablethorpe Past & Present (more info soon).
Looking ahead, we intend to set up a film alliance for local people, schools, clubs, etc incorporating the young and the old. By bringing together different groups to achieve a mutual goal, learn new skills and have fun, we hope to bring back some of Mablethorpe's community spirit!
